Hello Swype Fans of the World! We are thrilled to announce that the full version of Swype is now available on Google Play! If you would like to be a beta tester for Swype, please see the FAQ below.

1. What will happen to the Swype Beta program?

The Swype Beta program will be returning to its roots now that we’re offering the full version of Swype on Google Play. If you are an Android user and want to be a beta tester for Swype, please read this post on the Swype Forum.

2. I am an existing Swype Beta tester. What happens now?

If you are an existing Swype Beta tester, we recommend that you update to the latest version of Swype Beta (v1.4.9) by opening Swype Settings > Updates. You can verify your Swype Beta version by going to Swype Settings > Preferences and scrolling all the way to the bottom where it says "About".

3. Will the latest version of Swype Beta (v1.4.9) expire?

Yes. As with each previous release within the Swype Beta program, the latest version of Swype Beta (v1.4.9) will expire. The expiration date for Swype Beta v1.4.9 is September 14, 2013.

4. How can I sign up to be a beta tester for Swype?
